This is more of a question really .
In a couple of SBT sessions Khandro La showed us there are 4 ways to approach and enter the Charnel Ground.
a tiger
a black snake
a dancing dakini
I cant remember ! - please refresh me someone :)
I am wondering if the qualities of these 4 kinds of approach relate to the qualities of the 5 Dakinis?
For example could/does the black snake correspond to Vajra Dakini?
Does the Tiger correspond to Padma Dakini?
Interested if there is a link here or if they relate to some other scenario/teaching.
It's a lot of fun and helps connect to parts of ourselves not usually expressed moving and embodying the 4 very different modes of approach.
The Four Ways of Walking into the Charnel Ground are actually part of the Ganden Cho sadhana. Do you have that text? If so, it's in Part II, 2b-5b. But the one you couldn't remember is "Walk Like the Yogini's Heel Steps."
Your creative inquiry is, perhaps, a natural response to integrating our practices! I hear Khandro-la saying a couple of things (KL let me know if I am off base) - What do you think? What's your experience of the 5 Dakinis and walking into the charnel ground in these various forms? and at the same time, to be careful not to solidify it either, right?
Fun, imaginative, expressive!
