I made a note from Khandro-la's teaching during the last KJ that in the Guru Yoga visualization of Guru Vajradharma adorned with the six bone ornaments, the 6th one is ashes smeared on his body from the charnel ground. Each time I visualize this now, my body/mind swoons with waves of inspiring strength.

On reading this I am reminded of the Agori of India.
Working in the Charnel grounds...
Cutting away with all conventionality. All is Sacred. No distinction. One taste with everything.
Its would be good to learn of the great ashes.
I'd be in to this teaching for sure.
Intriquing and inspiring
The five ornaments or seals are the same in the male and female Buddhas. The male would have these plus what is called ‘ashes’. They are the ashes from a cremated human corpse. The technical translation is ‘great dust’ or ‘great ashes’. That brings the ornaments to six seals for the male. Of course, I cannot explain the symbolism of 'great ashes' here. The female Buddha, Vajrayogini, does not have that.
