It was a delight to join the Dakinis at your fingertips session this morning.
Under Shona's skillful guidance, I was able to forget all the serious matters of acting like a hard working grownup and take some time out to be really present with simple household items and spaces.
The yielding, crushable sheet of paper. With a sharp edge. The sound of paper being scrunched.
Then arranging and rearranging a collection of random household items into different configurations.
Being in the experience feels much bigger than the description.
Which makes me think of the TARDIS - bigger on the inside than the outside.
You can walk all the way around, and it's a small thing - and when you dare to open the door, it's a whole other adventure.
Grateful for the space to play in a group. There's magic there too.
Looking forward to laying again outdoors next week.
really enjoyed your Tardis analogy Rachel - that's a dakini eye kinda way of seeing things too - space and time bending.... great to have some play time with you in person online and see you for the next one bright and early. Silhouettes may be a continuing exploration??
